Frequently Asked Questions

Will my skin look orange?

No, the advanced technology currently used in sunless tanning solutions is designed to ensure a natural, bronze tan. Our spray technicians customize each solution and assure each client that it will be the proper level of tanning solution to best match your skin tone.

How should I prepare for my custom airbrush tan?

Shave, exfoliate and shower prior to your appointment. To assure a long, lasting tan make sure your skin is clean and oil-free. Arrive to your appointment with dark, loose clothing. We do not recommend wearing leggings, jeans, socks, closed shoes, boots, or anything tight that will be uncomfortable as your spray tan develops.

How long should I wait after my spray tan to take a shower?

With our custom spray tan we recommend waiting at least 8 to 10 hours before you shower, anything before that will not promise optimal results. With our spray L.A. express tan you can shower as early as four hours after your appointment. However, for a deeper tan we recommend waiting 5 hours at least.

Will swimming ruin my spray tan?

Swimming in chlorinated water or salt water can fade the spray tan results, cause possible streaking and will diminish the length of your tan. We do recommend avoiding hot water, steam rooms, saunas, and Jacuzzis as they can strip off the spray tan right away.

How long will my spray tan last?

As it will vary with each client, the average length of our spray tans last between 4-6 days. We do recommend our spray L.A. nude lotion (or any paraben free moisturizer) to use daily after your appointment to protect your spray tan while hydrating your skin.

Can I shave after my spray tan?

It is best to shave before your spray tan appointment because shaving will cause your tan to fade. But if you must shave after we do recommend you don’t use any shaving cream but instead use a light body wash or conditioner.

Will my spray tan stain my clothes?

The cosmetic bronzer we use during your spray tan appointment will wash off of any clothing it has stained. After your first shower the cosmetic bronzer will come off and you will be left with the final results of your spray tan that will not stain any clothing or rub off onto anything else. However, due to different circumstances if you do sweat or are involved in any physical activity it will begin to fade and staining is possible (but don’t worry, it will wash off!)

What can I do if I have showered and I am not happy with my spray tan results?

We understand that there are times where you will not be satisfied with your spray tan, or there maybe areas that did not develop as well. As long as we are aware of any problems or concerns within 24 hours after your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you and make sure you are happy with your spray L.A. tan.
